Kashong:  unique name, in local dialect, of an extinct Native-American plantation on the shore of Seneca Lake in western New York State, burned in 1779 by order of Gen. George Washington as punishment for providing material support to marauding British troops during the American Revolution.

   Kashong LLC:  a private holding & management company, with roots in pristine rural western New York State, formed to own, test, improve, license and commercialize the most advanced "green" technologies to solve everyday infrastructure problems of municipal governments.
